Gay Tel Aviv - The Hottest LGBT Capital of the Middle East

Tel Aviv attracts visitors from around the world for Mediterranean beaches that are beautiful, access to cultural attractions such as the arts and theater, and a nightlife of bars and clubs.  With so much to do at any time, it is understandable how Tel Aviv can be recognized as a city that doesn’t sleep.  The city of Tel Aviv is a favorite destination, in particular to gays and lesbians.

One of the draws of Tel Aviv to the LGBT visitors is the atmosphere that is exciting, beautiful, and rich with cultural attractions.  Another feature about the city is how liberal it is.  The political freedom of the Israeli culture is a contrast to other Middle Eastern countries.

Gay Pride Tel Aviv

When Tel Aviv distinguished its Centennial in 2009, it named June as Gay Pride Month.  Tens of thousands of visitors come together in the most liberal city of Israel to celebrate at the annual Gay Pride Parade toward the end of that month.  From the LGBT community center through major streets to the beach, the parade stretches out to one amazing dance party.  Even the locals show their support with the rainbow flag hung at many attractions near Pride activities. June is most certainly - Gay Tel Aviv at its best!

Especially during Gay Pride Month, the LGBT community of the world visits Tel Aviv with the knowledge that this vibrant city and major tourist attraction is also a welcoming destination for all types of people.  The restaurants, clubs, beaches, and museums are open through the many hours of fun and excitement for its visitors, one and all.

Gay Night Life in Tel Aviv

The nightlife in Tel Aviv attracts DJs from Europe and the United States to entertain the locals and visitors who come together to enjoy “the city that doesn’t sleep”.  There is typically not a list of gay-friendly bars and clubs as most clubs are for patrons and clubbers of all persuasions.  However, more alternative bars such as Evita and Laika are popular gay bars in Tel Aviv.  Cultural and musical events are just a few of the types of celebrations that bring gay tourists from all across the globe.
